Tour Highlights:

• Crossing the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, a 50-meter high bridge that spans across a scenic canyon with waterfalls and pools below.
• Exploring the trails that wind through the lush forest, along the creek, and to different viewpoints and attractions where I will speak about the local plants and animals, the history of the park, and the environmental issues affecting the area.
• Stopping at the "30 Foot Pool", a popular swimming hole with clear water and a sandy beach.
• Admiring the Twin Falls, a pair of small waterfalls that can be seen from a wooden bridge below the suspension bridge. 

Tour Highlights:

• Seeing the impressive Capilano Canyon with its 40 metre tall rock walls.
• Crossing the Cleveland Dam and the Pipe Bridge for spectacular views of the reservoir and the canyon.
• Visiting the salmon hatchery and learning about the salmon life cycle and conservation efforts.
• Exploring the diverse forest trails and spotting wildlife such as birds, squirrels, and maybe even bears.
• Admiring Grandpa Capilano, a huge Douglas fir tree that is over 400 years old.

Tour Highlights:

• Explore a network of trails while learning about the history of the local indigenous peoples and the history of Vancouver.
• Learn about the plants and animals that grow on Burnaby Mountain.
• Enjoy breath-taking views of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore, the Indian Arm, and the Burrard Inlet from the summit at 366 metres above sea level.
• You can encounter a variety of wildlife, such as blacktail deer, coyotes, bald eagles, and black bears in this important mountain ecosystem.
• Visit Simon Fraser University Campus.

• We are familiar with all the main hiking trails around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland and would be happy to customize a tour for you or your group.

• Your guide will be First Aid certified, experienced in working with groups of all ages, and experienced in the backcountry.

• We can host shorter tours that are closer to urban areas, or longer tours that go farther away from Vancouver.

• You will meet at the destination agreed upon with your guide. It is expected that you have your own transportation to/from the hike.
• Trails may be a combination of graded, gravel paths and more wild dirt trails with some roots and may have tripping hazards. 
• All trails that we hike on are considered 'easy-moderate' hiking.
• While we hope to encounter wild animals, encounters with bears or cougars are extremely rare.
